It is difficult for emergency vehicles to find homes

Firefighters, emergency vehicles, and personnel may need to find your home quickly should an emergency occur. It is difficult for emergency vehicles to find homes and businesses whose address numbers are not properly posted and illuminated at night.

Here is what a registered nurse has to say:

"I am an on call nurse for a local hospice and I really wish I could see better the house numbers when I get call in the middle of the night. It takes me longer to find my patients' houses because they are in dark streets. Sometimes they are in pain or respiratory distress and I know they need my attention immediately." Regina Gurgel RN
